Planting Plan
Planting brings the garden to life. The initial design outlines areas to be planted but a detailed planting plan can also be supplied.
A planting scheme will be designed to suit the particular growing conditions of your garden, to complement the design, provide interest throughout the year and create the overall ambience you desire. I have experience designing planting schemes for different soil types and aspects, ranging from clay, free draining, sandy soils, dry shady difficult sites and from formal to cottage gardens.
The planting plan provides details of the plants to use and where they should be positioned, species and cultivar and quantity required. Plant selection is carefully considered based on the area, soil type and structure, shape and colour to meet your preferences.
A detailed plant schedule is produced from this plan, detailing botanical name, quantity, size required and estimated cost (to be confirmed when ordering). This can then be used to order from the nursery of your choice.
I offer a separate planting service where the plants are selected, ordered, set out and planted by myself.
I can create an annual maintenance plan for your planted garden. This gives a description of the plant, season of interest and maintenance required throughout the year.
