Site Survey
To produce an accurate plan for your garden I need to take detailed measurements and site photographs. This is the site survery which enables me to produce a scaled plan of your garden and records all of the relevant information required to create your design.
The survey will include;
- Measuring the site, building(s), access points, windows and ground levels.
- Noting particular characteristics of the entrance, setting, soil type, drainage, aspect, views, plants to keep, drains, manhole covers, building materials, style of house and decor.
- Photographs and sketching of site.
If a garden is topographically very complex it may require a more detailed site survey. I would recommend a firm of surveyors who would be able to do this.
From these details I produce a 'to scale' sketch outlining all the proposed changes including hard landscaping, main trees and any structural features we have discussed.
